Oriori
Oriori is our name for the home we are purchasing in on Banks Peninsula. Oriori is a traditional Māori word that refers to a soothing lullaby sung to babies and mothers in labour. An oriori often passes on knowledge about te ao Māori, including place names, whakapapa, and stories about the baby’s whānau.
